This data helps us understand the relative sizes of the HIV and hepatitis C epidemics. It shows the  percentage of people who inject drugs and the general population who are living with HIV and the percentage who are living with hepatitis C viraemia. 

Data on people who inject drugs is from the World Drug Report; data on the general population is from the Global Health Observatory and the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS). The chart represents the mid-points of the estimates; upper and lower bounds can be found in the table below.
