This data helps us understand the importance of drug use in the overall health harms related to hepatitis B. It shows the percentage of hepatitis B-related deaths and disability adjusted life years (DALYs) from liver cancer, cirrhosis and other chronic liver diseases that are attributable to injecting drug use.
